Eureka Home Care - integrity-driven home and respite care services for Islanders.
As a part of my commitment, Eureka Home Care is currently specializing in providing high-end, private in-home care/Respite Care to seniors with cognitive impairments and serious health conditions where I will introduce Home Care-level services in 2026. My Respite Care services also supports individuals transitioning from the hospital, as well as offers relief to family members and caregivers. I believe in creating a supportive and nurturing environment where my clients feel safe, valued, and empowered. My ultimate goal is to remove barriers to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life for those I serve.
Eureka Home Care was created by Karen Murray, fellow Islander who has family and family friends in the provincial home care system. After navigating this system, she noticed a gap in high-end, integrity-driven private Home Care where there is a lack of both companies and workers to provide this level of Respite and Home Care services. Starting with in-home private Respite Care in 2025, Eureka Home Care will expand in 2026 to offer private Home Care services as well. Karen lived away for many yeas and her background includes working with children and adults with cognitive impairments, disabilities, Respite Care services and she is currently pursuing her PhD in Functional Medicine. She has professional work experience in private homes, large estates and on large private yachts in high-end housekeeping, laundry, gardening, cooking and of course, guest engagement, including working with seniors with disabilities in both Canada and in the U.S.
